He is the General Overseer of TOP Ministries International and the Chairman of the Apostolic Council. He is also the Principal of TOP Ministries Bible Institute and Head of the TOP Ministries International Ministerial Council.
Rev Osei Owusu Cobbina became born again at a Scripture Union crusade in September 1975 in Aduanakrom, Dormaa in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. His zeal for God was proven when he became an executive member of the Wamfie Christian Fellowship in the late 70’s. He was also a leading member of the Scripture Union in the Brong Ahafo region. He was involved in planting many fellowships in several towns and villages of the region. At a point, they had about 54 outlets of the fellowship in the region. He was a staunch member of the Ghana Evangelical Society under the leadership of Bro Emmanuel Agbozo, from 1976 to 1978. Rev Cobbina was a member of the famous Sampa Crusaders. In 1981, he and others organized a series of crusades at Sampa, Brong Ahafo Region and the results were unequalled in the entire history of Scripture Union fellowship in the Brong Ahafo region. In 1988, he became a founding father of Temple of Praise Ministries Inc (now TOP Ministries International) and has held the position of General Overseer since then.
In 1979, Rev Cobbina studied under the famous Archbishop Benson Idahosa at the All Nation for Christ Bible Institute. Rev Cobbina believes that, every person has something to offer. According to him, every one was born to influence and hence, the need to start sowing the seeds influence now in order to make an impact in your world. He is married to Rev Mrs Theresa Cobbina and they have been blessed with three daughters. He is the author of “Divine Calling: the Passion, Challenges and Impact.”
