The Bible and its authority; that the scriptures (both Old and New Testaments) are verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are supreme and final authority in life and faith.
THE ETERNAL GODHEAD – we believe in one God, eternally existing in Three Persons (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
MAN’S DEPRAVED NATURE – that man was created in the image of God and that through sin, man incurred both spiritual and physical death. Man became depraved as a result, subject to eternal punishment and need repentance and regeneration through the new birth.
THE LIFE AND MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST – that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, begotten of the Holy Spirit and born by the Virgin Mary (fully God and fully man). That Jesus Christ died on the cross and everyone who believes in Him is justified because of the His shed blood. That Jesus Christ resurrected, ascended into Heaven and is exalted at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Advocate and He shall return to this earth in power and glory.
SALVATION OF SINNERS – that by the grace of God, all who in repentance and faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God.
THE HOLY SPIRIT (BAPTISM AND GIFTS) – the personality and baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers subsequent to salvation, with speaking in tongues as the initial evidence. Also in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their manifestation.
WATER BAPTISM – by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. [We do not believe in baptism of infants, but rather in their dedication to God until they are of age].
DIVINE HEALING – that it is the right of every born again believer, and that healing of sicknesses and diseases is provided for God’s people in the atonement of Jesus Christ. [We do not oppose soliciting the help of qualified medical practitioners].
THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH – the universal church of Christ.
TITHE AND OFFERING – we believe in tithing, giving of offerings and donations.
THE LORD’S SUPPER (HOLY COMMUNION) – we believe in the Lord’s Supper.
THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST – we believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, which includes the rapture of the saints, the visible return of Christ with the His saints to rule on earth for a thousand year period. [We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just, to everlasting life and the unjust to everlasting damnation].
MARRIAGE – we believe in the institution of marriage between a man and a woman as ordained by God. [We do not believe or subscribe to marriage between two men, two women or man and anything else].
